There’s never a dull moment with the Husky/Malamute cross dog breed. The dogs from this mixed breed are energetic and friendly, and these are the reasons why most people adore them. So when videos featuring this crossbreed are posted online, it’s no surprise they go viral in an instant, just like this video of K’eyush interacting with Siri, a virtual assistant device launched by Apple.
The video started with Key, which is short for K’eyush, greeting his mom with a howl that sounded like “Hello Mom.” Siri then responded that he couldn’t understand what the dog was saying. The Malamute Husky mix paused for a moment and looked at the phone as if asking, “Are you deaf, Siri?”
Key’s mom told him to repeat what he said, and she could not contain her laughter when Siri seemed to understand what her dog was saying. She told him to continue talking to Siri, but Siri replied that she could not understand what she was saying. Her mom couldn’t believe that he understood Key but not her.
Moments later, Key greeted Siri again, however this time, he called him “weirdo.” Siri was able to understand him and even replied, “I’m here.” His mom couldn’t stop laughing when Siri responded.
Key would have wanted more time with Siri, but he was already too hungry. After getting some food, he resumed interacting with Siri and later realized where Siri’s voice was coming from. Their conversation went on for almost three and a half minutes.
Although Key and Siri’s banter didn’t go quite as expected, the two were able to entertain their viewers. Currently, their video now has over 1.5 million views. It was sure fun to watch this crossbreed dog trying to communicate with Siri.
