A local rescuer received a report one day about a stray dog living under a car. A few kids saw the canine and knew exactly who to contact.
The rescuer was very thankful for that. This ensures that the dog gets the right help it needs.
When the rescuer went to the location of the dog, the canine looked very wary of people. When the rescuer tried to reach out for him, he was startled and ran off.
The rescuer’s mask must have also scared him off. Due to the pandemic, the rescuer is taking extra precautionary measures.
He is doing this by wearing a protective mask. Thankfully the dog did not go too far.
The kids were trying to call him out from under the car, and the rescuer was hoping that he was going to follow them. Unfortunately, he didn’t.
A woman that has been feeding him for quite a while called him, and that’s when he followed and went to her. This was the rescuer’s opportunity to catch him, which he did. The rescuer was very thankful for the woman for helping him out.
The caught chihuahua had really long nails. This could be dangerous at times because it could grow into their flesh. This could be very painful for the canine.
The chihuahua needed medical attention, so the rescuer brought him to the vet. Skimpy, the dog, was ready for his new life. A trip to the vet was just the beginning.
Before anything too exciting happened, the canine needed a good nap. He had a very exhausting life on the streets. He had to scavenge for food. He also needs to find a way to keep himself warm at night.
Stimpy deserved a long sleep, and that’s the first thing that he did when he arrived at the shelter. Stimpy is very fortunate that the children who found him were concerned enough to call a rescuer for him. Because of them, Stimpy is going to have a very good, happy, and safe life.
