Katie Snyder is a kind fur mom and a loving daughter. For some reason, she sent her pup, named Leia, to stay with her dad for a while. But Katie’s dad and Leia grew to love each other so much that Katie had no choice but to let them stay with each other for good. Katie’s dad and Leia spent most of their time together, so when Katie’s dad did not go home one day, Leia felt devastated and kept waiting for her dad to return.
Katie’s dad and mom went out to celebrate their long and lovely 40th anniversary, but unexpectedly, Katie’s dad had to be rushed to the hospital because of complications from his cancer. Katie’s mom went home to Leia that day, but her dad stayed at the hospital. Leia was happy to see her fur mom but became worried when she saw no sight of her fur dad.
Katie’s mom shared a picture with her daughter showing how devastated Leia was without her dad. In the photo, Leia could be seen waiting inside the house with her head leaning on the door. The pup was patiently waiting for her dad to come home to her.
As soon as Katie saw the photo, she gave way to tears. She said that she could truly see just how much the pup loved her dad. Katie relates that Leia is not the type of pup to show how she truly feels. She is laid-back, independent, and usually by herself, so it was a shock for Katie to see the pup showing great emotions when her dad did not come home. The pup must really miss her dad and best friend. Luckily for her, Katie’s dad eventually came home and was reunited with his pup the very next day!
