Dogs are incredible, and there are no species more fitting as man’s best friend. Our pet dogs can be adorable, sweet, and fiercely loyal. They also possess an incredible guarding ability. There are many viral stories of dogs saving their humans’ lives or foiling attacks such as kidnappings and burglaries.
But, have you heard of a dog fiercely guarding a parcel? Meet Ace, a golden retriever from Melbourne, Australia. In a hilarious video on his own Instagram account, the adorable pup can be seen as alert and not letting anyone touch a piece of the parcel he was guarding. The post was aptly captioned that nobody is moving his package – not even the humans who ordered it.
The video shows the cute little puppy sitting on a bed beside an Amazon parcel. When his owner asked for the package, instead of letting go of the box, Ace got up and started barking. His way of telling his human that he is in protective mode and is not interested in sharing the parcel. The human tried to insist and continuously asked if the pooch is willing to share – and Ace won’t budge.

The owner tried a few more times until she was able to get the parcel off the bed. But Ace was diligent and worked so hard to bite the cardboard box one last time so his mom will not take away his parcel. The cute scene has melted the internet’s hearts, and the video now has more than 100,000 views. The comments are all positive, with one writing how adorable Ace was and another saying it should be “finders keepers,” so the box should remain with the pup.
Since then, Ace has been going on adventures with his pet parents. He’s been enjoying playing in the garden and sticking out his head during a drive around town. Another Amazon parcel has since then arrived, but this time, Ace is willing to share and is helping his mom with the deliveries instead.
