There’s something about cuddling and hugging that makes us feel safe and relaxed. It’s true for both hoomans and pets, so it’s a widely accepted fact on this planet.
It couldn’t be more so for this German Shepherd named Rudi. He’s a mama’s boy, and he’s not apologizing for it. He acknowledges that he has the best hooman, and it’s adorable to watch.
Rudi behaves pretty much like a baby in his mom’s arms. He enjoys every rub, scratch, and hug that he gets from his doting hooman mom. You’re one fortunate hooligan, Rudi.
You could see from the blissful expression on his face that there’s nowhere he’d rather be than in the one he’s in at that moment. We saw gratefulness, trust, and so much love that were all mixed in there.
To get to that level of trust, both human and pet must meet each other’s love tanks. It simply wouldn’t work if only one did all the taking while the other did all the giving.
Rudi and his mom sure got the relationship kinks down pat, and as a result, both enjoy a healthy, loving and nurturing relationship.
While Rudi couldn’t give belly rubs and scratches, he made sure that his mom doesn’t think for one second that he’s abandoning her. The dog’s quick to offer some reassuring kisses to keep his mom feeling safe.
That’s dedication, combined with love and adoration. Judging by how they look so at ease with each other, there’s no challenge that these two couldn’t conquer.
Rudy closed his eyes as he reveled in the feeling of warmth and love as his mom stroked and scratched his body. We bet he wanted to stay there forever.
We all would, Rudy; thanks for reminding us just how simple relationships could be. We hope you live all your days well, assured that your love for each other is all you need.
