We have seen the lengths that some people would go through to bring smiles to their neighbors’ faces during these challenging times. Taking care of our mental health was an essential concern, and luckily, some people took it upon themselves to spread a little cheer and bring positivity to the people they met along the way.
For Clare Meardon of West Cornwall in the UK, she knew that she had it in her to shed a little brightness on an otherwise dismal atmosphere. The 40-year-old dancer started to dress up in various eye-catching costumes while walking her dog Hendrix. Her husband takes a video during their walks, and soon, the whole world smiles as this woman enjoyed her extravagant outfits.
A dare started the ball rolling. Soon enough, Clare began to dress up in different outfits and costumes, choosing to wear one outrageous getup after another. She already went out as a ballerina, a superhero complete with a cape, a unicorn, and the most unusual of all, just a bath towel with cucumber slices covering her eyes!
To follow government guidelines, Clare made sure that she parades her mind-boggling costumes just outside their house. She created her costumes, most of which were used in the dance school she managed. Each character she portrayed revealed a part of her personality, a way for her to express creativity and spunk.
What does her trusty dog think of his owner’s strange ways? Hendrix posted his thoughts using his owner’s social media account. He implored people to help him since his mom kept doing ‘weird stuff’ and even made him matching outfits.
Based on their photos, this sweet dog had such a gloomy and mortified facial expression. The internet felt his pain, sending him a message of love and encouragement despite his apparent embarrassment while walking around with his mom.
Poor Hendrix!
